About Pete.....

My passion for diving was first started in England over 15 years ago. It didn’t take long for the “Lust for Rust” to imbed itself firmly in my veins. The rest is history. I am a padi course director and tech instructor traininer. TDI Adv Trimix instr and Inspo Instr 

Having built up over 3000 dives in various locations world wide. England, Scotland (scapa flow), New Zealand, The Red Sea, Cyprus, South Africa, Caves in Zimbabwe, Australia, sydney, Cairns - The Great Barrier Reef, Vavau Tonga, fiji, Solomon Islands Guadalcanal, Gizo, tulagi, President Coolidge Vanuatu, Sipidan. (Borneo) and Truk Lagoon.

I have also been involved in many diving activities with significant experience in leading expeditions to deep wrecks like HMRNZ Puriri (a Kiwi minesweeper sunk in 1940’s in a 100m of water off the coast of NZ), RMS Niagara (a luxurious Ocean liner lying in 125m of water), the President Coolidge, Iron Bottom Sounds and many to the Michael Lermontov (a Russian Ocean liner sunk in 36m in the South Island). In June 2000 was involved with Tanya Streeters 90 meter variable ballast sled dive in New Zealand. Also featuring in the National Geographic series X-Force The Science of Diving. I have also  become more involved with planning and organising technical trips round NZ, South Pacific and rest of the world.  Focusing on supplying divers with value for money and not being restricted in diving activities.

About Leigh.....

 

Leigh Bishop is a world-renowned deep shipwreck explorer. His specialist deepwater photography alongside his own research has led to the documentation and discovery of many famous shipwrecks.

He has been a member of many significant deep shipwreck expeditions over the last decade which include the Britannic her sister Titanic, Lusitania, Egypt, Transylvania the Nazi Liner Wilhelm Gustloff and many more Ocean liners. He has also explored more than 400 virgin wrecks off England and been the first to dive many U-boats. In recent times he joined an Australian led team to photograph the deep Gold ship Niagara off New Zealand and is making plans to explore more deep wrecks in the Pacific. He has also been a photographer on the expeditions to the Arctic in search of the lost British Submarine X5. He was the first to photograph & explore other famous lost British submarines such as HMS Vandal HMS Affray & HMS M1 all in deep water.

Leigh is recognized as an innovator of black & White time exposure photography underwater, using a tripod he has used this method to capture many inspiring shipwreck images like the famous bow of the massive liner Justica and the huge guns of HMS Audacious.

Leigh has been a prolific speaker and writer on the subject for over a decade and has published shipwreck articles in just about every diving magazine around the world.
