MAY 2012 POOR KNIGHTS TRIP

We were all destined for another Lust4Rust trip to the shipwrecks out of Tutukaka, but unfortunately the weather was pretty average so we headed out to the Poor Knights instead. What a day it turned out to be!!

Members of the "Breatheren" were in force!

First dive was Northern Arch. An amazing dive! Pink Mau Mau by the ton in the archway.
Round the corner is another little cave. This is fantastic for ambient shots.

The second dive was Taravana Cave, the largest of the underwater sea caves at the Poor Knights. Party Marty here posing for me - nice one mate! Just trying out the back lighting with a slave strobe. Still a fledgling when it comes to these picks!!!

  Marty heading into the cave.

  Everyone taking their vows
Also wanted to welcome Peter Alexander into "The Breatheren" as the newest member just finishing his Tec40CCR on Sunday.
